This series of songs is a result of composer’s fascination with Silesia region tradition and in reply to the social demand for this kind of repertoire. The ten songs are: Kaj zajada, to zajada / Na tym naszym groniu / Nie ma to takiej dziewczynie / ZakukaÅ‚a, zapÅ‚akaÅ‚a / Gwiazdeczki, gwiazdeczki / CzemużeÅ› ty MaryÅ› / JechoÅ‚ siedloczek / ChÅ‚opcy, chÅ‚opcy, co dziaÅ‚acie / W polu stoi grusz / Za naszym polem.

All of them were taken from the collection Pieśni Ludowe Śląska Opolskiego compiled by A. Dygacz and J. Ligeza and published by PWM Kraków in 1954. Songs can be preformed together or as separate pieces both by amateur and professional choirs.
