This is one movement song for three voice children’s choir with irregular structure with lyrics by Polish poet Władysław Broniewski (1987-1962), composed at the comision of Państwowe Wydawnictwa Muzyczne PWM for The Guide for Primary School Choir Master (Przewodnik dla prowadzącego chór w szkole podstawowej). The piece is aimed for choir with a few years of vocal experience.

The song was originally composed for 4 voice mixed choir as a third movement of Songs of Mazovia, Vistula and Warsaw in 1952.
