Hej tam w polu jezioro
The song was composed to help composer with his work with amateur choirs. It is a strophe based piece drawing on a folk melody from the Mazovia region of Poland. Its texture is characterised by imitation technique. The same main theme is present in all voices. The song aimed at amateur choirs.
