Sea-froth Cut-outs (I)
This composition is a small cantata for three voice children’s choir and brass quintet with lyrics by WÅ‚odzimierz SÅ‚obodnik. The inspiration to write this piece was a nice and cheerful poem received from its author WÅ‚odzimierz SÅ‚obodnik during holiday in Dom Pracy Twórczej ZAIKS in Ustka in 1956.

This song for was composed for singer Lidia Skowron. It illustrates the text and melody of the folk Kurpie region melody taken from the collection Kurpik. This is the second version of the composition which was originally composed for four voice mixed choir a cappella (1948).

This composition was written for music school choirs from Legnica. It is one movement piece with Polish religious lyrics. Composer applied the simplest technical measures to ensure that the composition can be performed by school choirs.
