Impressions for Solo Viola

The writing of this piece was inspired by and dedicated to composer’s son Artur. It is cyclical, four movements piece composed with the intention of giving the artist an opportunity for a rich expression based on the virtuoso skill set. Each of the movements was composed with contrast of all form elements at its base. The piece requires the highest performing skills and technique. With regards to the musical and technical difficulty level it can be compared with compositions of Reger or Hindemith.
