The instrumental composition of the ensemble in this version was a result of the performing abilities of the school bands.

Symphonia de Nativitate by Polish anonymous from 1759 is a reconstruction for a string band. The composition was reconstructed at the request of Tadeusz Ochlewski, Director of PWM and Head of the band Con moto ma cantabile. Based on the remains of orchestra scores and autographs from the middle of XVIII century, the composer created entirely new composition, but in the style and spirit of the time.
